Typical questions before deployment.
A VSD with an RS-485 or RS-232 SCADA port and Modbus, cellular coverage, 220 V power and proper grounding. The modem goes inside the VSD. Details on How it works.
Register maps ship for Elekton, IRZ, Novomet, Borets, Triol, Etalon, Region, Centrilift and others. A new Modbus VSD is added from the manufacturer's documentation. See Features.
Yes. The system is designed for GSM/GPRS: Modbus frames are short and UI data volume is minimal. After a link outage, polling resumes when the link is restored, and trend gaps are backfilled from the VSD archive.
Low: the exchange uses short Modbus frames. The volume depends on the poll period and the parameter set and is calculated for the customer's data plan during the site survey.
On a stable link, a command executes within seconds. Latency increases with poor link quality. The system is not intended for emergency operations. Start, stop and setpoints are for normal pump operation.
Yes. On a shared RS-485 line the system receives VSD replies to the existing master's requests and polls only the missing registers. The wiring scheme is agreed during the site survey. If the VSD has a free second port, connection to that port is recommended.
No. The server is vendor-hosted, and maintenance and updates are handled by the vendor. No server hardware is required on the customer side, and change requests are handled with short turnaround.
On the vendor's server, not in a public cloud. Users have access only to their own organization's fields.
Operator, production engineer and administrator roles. Fields are grouped into sections, and each user sees only their own wells.
Yes. The UI runs in a browser and adapts to the screen width. No app installation required.
Send a request listing the VSD and TMS types in use, the number of wells, and cellular coverage data. The rollout steps are on the Contact page.
