Vendor-hosted server

The server is hosted and maintained by the vendor. No server hardware purchase or upkeep on the customer side. Change requests are handled with short turnaround, and improvements for the customer's wells ship promptly. Oil-production configuration is performed by the developer.

Polling speed first

No heavy graphics: the UI is designed for GSM/GPRS links. The VSD archive is not read in full: over GPRS this takes hours and blocks polling of live VSD data.

Economic benefit

No daily well-site visits: parameters are available to the production engineer on demand.
Planned starts and stops without dispatching a crew: the production engineer starts or stops the pump remotely.
Seasonal road restrictions: no all-terrain vehicles required for parameter checks.
No lease road snow clearing required while the well runs normally.
